    "Hi there! I'm Daniel, also known as Dan. I'm a local to Dumfries, married with 2 kids and like everyone else, I love a good party! I have over 17 years of DJing experience, from bedroom to main stage and everything in-between. Now it's all about Avanti Events, a coming together of all my skills, bringing a fresh and modern approach to Weddings and Parties across Dumfries & Galloway.

    Music wise I love the best of all era's, a crowd pleaser at heart, if everyone else is having a good time then I'm right there with them! If I had to choose though... you'd find me dropping some dance anthems or belting out some indie classics, I'm all about those festival vibes!

    The Anderson Wedding

    Daniel hosted our wedding reception and we couldn’t of asked for anything better. Right from the moment we first got in contact for a quote to the afternoon of our wedding his communication was top notch. He made sure to go through every detail with us. We have a particular love for bounce, clubland & MC music and Daniel put together a playlist that included all of these and songs that our guests would also like too. Our whole evening from when Daniel started, to the end, the dancefloor was full. We have had comments from both our guests and our hotel saying and I quote “this is the best wedding playlist we’ve heard”.
    All ages were up throughout the night and even through the duration of our reception Daniel would check in to make sure everything was all good. Also to mention, his set up was incredible. Daniel is a really down to earth guy and would 100% recommend him to anyone. I will for sure be using him for future events. Thanks again Daniel, keep doing what your doing.

    Emma’s 30th Birthday

    I had booked Daniel for my 30th birthday party! Would absolutely recommend! Chose the perfect songs and had everyone up dancing all night. A really nice guy who likes to get involved!     We were so pleased to have Daniel at Avanti events, DJ for our wedding at Lochside Hotel and Spa. He did an amazing job and had the whole place dancing all night. Daniel actually DJ’d at my 18th 12 years ago so it was so nice to have him do the wedding aswell! We had Shades of Sax too and they went together perfectly. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a friendly guy that loves music as much as us! Best night ever 🩷
